Škoda UAE Cycling Challenge 2024 and make a difference

 


Don’t miss your chance to register for this weekend’s adrenaline-fueled Škoda UAE Cycling Challenge 2024, which provides a unique community event and the special opportunity to make a difference beyond the track.

More than 150 competitors are expected for the second edition on Sunday, November 3. A rewarding 85-kilometre timed race awaits at Dubai’s renowned Al Qudra Cycling Track, with participants receiving a medal at the finish line.

Added significance for this running comes from the fact 100 per cent of revenue received from registrations will be donated to Al Jalila Foundation for the Treatment of Children. This desire to give back to the community and promote health awareness is central to Škoda UAE Cycling Challenge 2024, an initiative by Ali & Sons.

Sign-ups are available until. This fee also includes a T-shirt and official timing.

 

Winners in the male and female categories can expect a cash prize. There will be gifts for second and third-placed finishers.

The top-three finishers in the male and female categories will also each receive an entry for . A lucky draw will also see four other entries selected.

Cyclists are asked this Sunday to arrive at Last Exit – Al Qudra for 6am, where parking is provided on site. The race pack/race bib can be collected on the 1st and 2nd of November from beyond the bike shop at the first avenue mall, Motor City from 9 AM till 9 PM.

 

Once the action gets under way, participants will be catered for by four water stations. An 11am finish time is expected, with a link shared to access results.

Partners for Škoda UAE Cycling Challenge 2024 include Beyond the Bike, Oakley, Pedar, Shake On The Way, Romana Water and House of Pops.

This collaboration, revealed at the recent Sport Industry Forum in Abu Dhabi earlier this month, saw Interact Founder and Director Sally Corander and Sport360X Managing Director Bassam Nawfal officially sign the contract on this exciting new chapter for the region’s sports industry.

By combining the skills and network of both Interact and Sport 360X, this partnership will create even greater value for the region’s sport sector. The Sport Industry Series will be the ultimate platform for sports professionals across the UAE.

 

The partnership will preserve the unique identities of SPIA and SIF while benefiting from the collaborative opportunities the Sport Industry Series provides. A new podcast and a series of networking events will also be launched as a part of the partnership, offering continuous opportunities for learning, collaboration, and growth throughout the year.
